Friday 5th October (11am) –
Sunday 7th October (3pm) 2018
at Cleeve House, Seend,
Melksham, Wiltshire, SN12 6PG
A nourishing and rejuvenating feast of
taoist and yogic practises for women.
This early Autumn weekend retreat is during the season of the Earth element and of the harvest; its a time to gather ourselves back home to our own body temples; its a season to nourish ourselves with the fruits of our own love, nourishing our bodies and minds and practising the essential feminine art of surrendering and melting open to receive.
This weekend is about celebrating the beauty of our female form. Its about centring ourselves so fully that we truly Know that are ARE an embodiment of the many aspects of the Goddess.
Our intention is that you’ll leave feeling as mellow as those luscious Autumn fruits and inspired to really nourish yourself throughout the darker, more Yin months ahead.
In the taoist tradition, this season relates to the Element of Earth, so the Mama Earth (in yogic tradition known as Jagadambe Ma) beneath our feet and the Earth within us. Aligning with the Earth element helps us to embody her divine feminine qualities of:
✶ openness of mind, body, and spirit
✶ faith in the abundance of life
✶ surrendering to being held, supported and nourished
✶ trusting the Wisdom that lies at the very hearts of our Wombs
During this weekend retreat, we’ll be enjoying:
✶ Qi gong on the land to align us with the treasures of this scrumptious season, and to centre ourselves to fully inhabit our bodies.
✶ Self loving, self-centring taoist and yogic meditations
✶ Emotional balancing sound healing to prepare for deep heart / womb explorations
✶ Qi Self Massage (including breast massage) using gentle techniques to relax, release and nurture.
✶ Rhythms of Life: an exploration of honouring our inner rhythms through yoga and dance
✶ Nourishing, gentle, feminine yoga practice
✶ Exquisite Kirtan: sacred heart songs
✶ A sacred Jade Egg ritual to meet your Inner Goddess; to nourish your sensual nature and to ease you back to your innate centre of power – For more information on the use and benefits of the Jade Egg, please see www.taotreasures.com. Please note it is not essential that you use a Jade Egg during this ceremony; you’ll benefit enormously from this beautiful feminine practise with or without an egg. However, there will be high quality nephrite Jade Eggs for sale at the retreat for £40.00 including unwaxed, unflavoured dental floss for use with your egg.
This weekend is for you if…
✶ You are a woman (whatever your age!!)
✶ You could use a relaxing nurturing weekend away!
✶ You don’t currently make nourishing your body a priority
✶ You are curious about women’s taoist practise and / or Jade Egg practise
✶ You want to bathe in the company of like-minded sisters
✶ You want to immerse in the exquisite sounds of kirtan sounds
✶ You want to explore the sacred sensual Goddess you are
✶ You want to experience deeper relaxation
✶ You want to learn to surrender more to your body and your inner wisdom
✶ You want to learn life enhancing / rejuvenating practises that will nourish you for the rest of your life.

Marian Rose is a TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) & Five Element acupuncturist, a Universal Healing Tao Healing Love Instructor and Qi Gong practitioner. She is a facilitator of womens taoist healing workshops and sacred Jade Egg circles.
Her intention is to inspire women of all ages and experience to get back into their bodies; to get intimate with their physical and energy bodies, and to reclaim their body temples potential for enhanced health, sensuality and creativity.
She loves to help women open their hearts and set their pelvis's purring - what she describes as heart / womb alchemy - which, ultimately leads to greater self empowerment, alignment with presence and purpose, and, of course, heightened enjoyment of life!
Sivani Mata is a student of Bhakti Yoga (the yoga of love and devotion) and began her journey with this practice through attending various Kirtan (yogic singing) evenings in London and on her travels. Particularly with family band GOMA, who inspired her to live in trust and bhakti spirit in all aspects of life. She began to lead Kirtan after spending New Year 2009 with Jai Uttal on his Kirtan camp, followed by a Yoga Teacher Training in Mexico at the Yandara Yoga Institute, where an incredible resident kirtan band, Jaya made chanting a key element.
Since then Sivani has been running Kirtan circles and gatherings in the UK, and has released three kirtan albums produced by bhakti musical magician Tabla Tom: I AM (2012), Shakti Live (2015) and Surrender (2016). As well as her most recent release Jasmine Garden (2017) which blends Kirtan with mystic poetry.
Having fallen in love with the path of Bhakti Yoga, Sivani organised the UK’s first ever Bhakti Music Festival (in August 2011), which brought devotional musical practices from various traditions together as one, in the spirit of universal love and devotion. Following on from this she now organises BE LOVE ~ 11hour Bhakti Immersions in London. Inspired by her Bhakti Practice, Sivani also shares Yoga Nidra, Women's Yoga, Restorative Yoga and Shakti Dance with bhakti spirit, centring these practices in the heart to unveil ones true nature.
Sivani Mata feels incredibly blessed to have found this divine practice and be able to share it with others.
