EVENTS – GLASTONBURY | Diwali Kirtan
with Sivani Mata, Harisudha,
Durga Das and Vandita
Saturday 21st October 2017 | 7pm – 9pm
at Nature’s Retreat Centre,
Butleigh, Glastonbury, Somerset, BA6 8SJ
Join us to celebrate Diwali (the ancient festival of lights honouring our inner light and Lakshmi, the energy of abundance) with Kirtan.
Singing the profoundly healing sounds of sanskrit mantra effortlessly drops our awareness out of our busy minds and into our hearts. Kirtan is from the path of Bhakti Yoga (pure love and compassion) and responds to where you are and what you need in that moment, whether that is to bring you to a space of calm or elation. It can be deeply moving and incredibly joyful. Sivani Mata, Harisudha, Durga Das and Vandita will accompany these healing sounds with live music (harmonium, drum and shakers) to support our beautiful journey. Come add your heart and voice to the melting pot.
Investment: £10 or £5 (contribute the amount you can afford)
THIS KIRTAN IS NOW FULLY BOOKED
The Kirtan is at
Nature’s Retreat Centre, The Ladies Walk, 3 Church Close, Butleigh, Glastonbury, Somerset, BA6 8SJ
The centre is located near Glastonbury in a small village called Butleigh just off the High Street, near to the Church, and next to the Church car park. If you are coming by car there is not much space for parking at the venue so please park on the High Street, or elsewhere in the village. We have been asked that you please do not park in the Church car park, this is for the Church goers only.
This Kirtan is part of our Living Love: Kirtan–Bhakti Retreat 20 – 22 October. You are welcome to also join for the whole weekend.
