BRIGHTON
BHAKTI ON THE BEACH

with Brighton Kirtan team and Friends

Sunday 10th September | 2:30pm

on Brighton Beach
near to Brunswick Square

Join Sivani Mata, Gratia and friends for our 5th Annual Bhakti on the Beach!

Kirtan is chanting- a form of yoga for the voice done in a group accompanied by music. Repeating Sanskrit mantras creates a meditative and uplifted mental state, and helps to melt inhibitions that can suppress your voice and expression. You add your voice to those around you, creating a sense of harmony. Some people feel a sense of calm, others a sense of elation- it's a great way to unblock emotions as well as simply being a lot of fun.

The Brighton Kirtan team will lead the first hour or so and then pass on the harmonium for anyone to sing and share kirtan with the group. So bring your instruments and voices! We look forward to sharing Kirtan on Brighton Beach with you all, join us for the Kirtan and bring a picnic to share for after.

Bhakti on the Beach is an annual gathering run by Brighton Kirtan, a regular Kirtan with Sivani Mata, Gratia, Bhavana (Narayani & Mat), or Special Guests. www.brightonkirtan.co.uk
